Bank of East Asia lower on bank acquisition

Bank of East Asia Ltd (0023) shares moved slightly lower in early trade, with little impact from the company's acquisition of Los Angeles-based Grand National Bank, dealers said. Bank of East Asia was down HK$0.05 at HK$17.80 at HKT10:40am.
