US CPI dn 0.3% in July, biggest decline in 15 yr

The U.S. Labor Department said that the Consumer Price Index plunged 0.3% in July, the largest decline in 15 years, which is beyond market expectation. The inflation in US was mainly due to a sharp drop in gasoline prices by 11%, also the biggest decrease since 1986.
