B-share markets down at midday

China¡¦s B-share markets slid on Wednesday morning as investors were wary of another flood of new shares coming to the market. Shanghai B-share index shed 5.34 points or 3.17 per cent to close the morning session at 162.83 points. Turnover was RMB 599.76 million. Shenzhen B-share market slumped 7.66 points or 2.66 per cent to close at 279.84 points. Turnover was RMB 248.89 million.
