China Southern Airlines lower NP in 1H owing to high fuel prices

China Southern Airlines Co Ltd (1055) said its six months to June net profit fell by 42.1 pct despite a rise in traffic revenue, mainly due to persistent high fuel prices. The airline reported a net profit of RMB201.49 mln in the first half, against RMB347.97 mln.
