B-share market down on Friday

China¡¦s stock markets tumbled on Friday after a short-lived rally momentum in early session as the announcement of a probe by securities regulators into a domestic A share company dampened already poor sentiment. Shanghai B-share index fell 1.12 points or 0.66 per cent to close this week at 166.55. Turnover was RMB 875.32 million. Shenzhen B-share index dropped 2.54 points or 0.86 per cent to end at 291.61, underperforming Shanghaibecause of a fall in neighbouring HongKong, brokers said. Turnover was RMB 653.83 million.
