Sinopec slid 0.8% after a rise on 1H results release

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (0386) began to turn donw after an initial rise due to its 27.5-percent growth in net profit which was in line with market expectations. At 10:53a.m HKT, Its shares were down 0.8 percent at HK$1.19 from HK$1.22 at the open.
