China 1H GDP up 7.9% to 4.29 trln Yuan

China posted a gross domestic product of 4.29 trillion yuan (US$519 billion) in the first half, up 7.9 percent over the same period of last year, the online version of China Daily reported, citing Zeng Peiyan, minister of the State Development Planning Commission.
