B-share markets down in thin trade on Thursday
China's hard currency B shares headed south on Thursday as investors took cues from weakening domestic A shares and shrugged off the latest interest rate cuts for onshore hard currency savings. Transaction volumes hit record low. Shanghai B-share index inched down 0.74 point or 0. 45 per cent to 163.65 on a record low turnover of RMB 290.65 million. Shenzhen B-share index lost 2.57 points or 0.90 per cent to 282.92 on turnover of a mere RMB 206.22 million
