Tsang rules out government¡¦s intention to disband Housing Society

Hong Kong Housing Society is a statutory, private non-profit-making organization and there is no possibility of it being disbanded by the government, said Chief Secretary Donald Tsang. Tsang was responding to unsourced press reports today that the government was considering disbanding the Housing Society as part of a rethink of subsidized housing policy in Hong Kong.
