Bush is "confident" for US economy recovery
President George W. Bush wooed unionized workers on the U.S. Labor Day holiday Monday, assuring them he shares their worries about the sputtering U.S. economy, but is "confident" of its basic strength. ¡§I'm confident in the basic underpinnings of the American economy," he said. "I'm confident that we'll recover. I'm confident we'll have sustained growth.¡¨
