Standard Chartered to make debut on HK's main board on October 18

Standard Chartered will debut on HK's main board on October 18. Shares expected to list at discount of "not more than 2%" to share's closing price in London as of Oct. 14. Wednesday, Standard Chartered closed 1.6% higher at 845 pence. In early August, SC announced plans to raise up to HK$5 billion through an HK listing, and use proceeds fund organic growth and acquisitions.
