Salomon Smith Barney estimates Legend to be in lucrative server segment

Salomon Smith Barney says main impact of HP/Compaq merger on Legend (0992) will be in lucrative server segment, and estimates HP/Compaq's combined market share at 34%, vs. Legend's 14.3%. SSB points out that "for 1H01, servers accounted for 2.3% of units but 8.4% of total revenue." SSB adds that Legend will also face increased competition in portable PC and corporate markets.
