Hi3G to buy Norwegian 3G venture

The management of Hi3G AB is meeting with Broadband Mobile's attorneys today to discuss buying the bankrupt venture and taking over the Norwegian 3G license. Hi3G, a Hong-Kong based company that includes partners such as Investor AB, currently has mobile 3G licenses in Sweden, England, Austria and Italy. Broadband Mobile, the former 50:50 joint venture between Sonera Corp and Enitel ASA, had received one of four Norwegian mobile 3G licenses issued.
