ehealthcareasia to set up tele-marketing centres in HK and Japan

Brian O'Connor, Chairman of ehealthcareasia Limited (0835) (eha), expected that it will remain in red in the first half of the year because of the global economy. However, he said that the tele-marketing insurance business in Taiwan is encouraging with a monthly turnover of $1.5-2 million, representing 25% of eha's sales. There are over 100 employees in the tele-marketing centre. By the end of the year, the number of employees is expected to increase to 200. He hoped the turnover will increase to account for 40-50% of eha's turnover.
