SingTel\'s C2C to breakeven by 2004; sales slowing down

C2C, the undersea telecommunications cable company 59.50 pct owned by Singapore Telecommunications, said it is likely to breakeven by 2004 even though sales have been slowing in line with a worsening economic environment. C2C has been building a 17,000 kilometer fibre optic cable network around north and south Asia since the second half of last year.
