Worldwide economy slowdown affects PRC: Minister of Finance

PRC Minister of Finance Xiang Huaicheng was not very optimistic about the Chinese economy. Since the second half of the year, the slowdown of major economies has adversely affected PRC. The country's export posted a negative growth in June this year, and the export growth rate in July was way below the 35% of the same period of last year. The main engine of the country's economy is internal demand. With respect to "three links", Xiang reiterated that if the principle of "One China" can land on a common ground, three links will be definitely speeded up in progress.
