PCCW unit PCC to pay PC Matrix up to US$1.5 mln for NOW distribution in H2

Pacific Convergence Corp Ltd (PCC), the unit of Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd (0008) is expected to pay not more than 1.5 mln usd to Pacific Century Matrix Ltd for the distribution of its NOW television channel via satellite for the period from July to December this year. In a statement, the company said last year, Pacific Convergence paid 38 mln hkd to Pacific Century Matrix. Pacific Century Matrix is 70 pct owned by Richard Li, who is also the executive chairman and controlling shareholder of PCCW.
