B shares surge on Monday

China¡¦s B-share markets soared on Tuesday despite a short-lived fall after the opening. Shanghai B-share index jumped 4.99 points or 3.06 per cent to close at 167.98 points. Turnover was RMB 560.46 million. Shenzhen B-share index leaped 8.48 points or 3.05 per cent to end at 286.01 points. Turnover stood at RMB 265.34 million.
