Mainland Headwear H1 net profit 32.95 mln hkd vs 23.51

Mainland Headwear Holdings Ltd. (1100) said its net profit increased 40.1 percent to HK$32.95 million for the six months through June, from a year earlier. Basic earnings per share were 13.73 HK cents compared with 13.06 HK cents previously. Revenue, meantime, rose 17 percent to HK$148.2 million. An interim dividend of 2 HK cents a share will be distributed, compared with nil a year earlier.
