Nasdaq up after four-day loss, DJIA flat

The Nasdaq and S&P 500 snapped a four-day losing streak Monday as buyers returned to the beleaguered technology sector. The Dow industrials, meanwhile, ended almost flat after dipping in and out of the red for most of the session. The Dow Jones industrial average closed down 0.34, or 0.00%, to 9605.51 and the Nasdaq Composite index was up 7.68, or 0.46%, to 1695.38. The S&P 500 was up 6.76, or 0.62%, to 1092.54.
