China's August industrial value-added output up 8.1 pct yr-on-yr

China's industrial value-added output in August amounted to 223.3 bln yuan, up 8.1 pct year-on-year, a growth rate unchanged from the previous month, the National Bureau of Statistics said. For the eight months to August, industrial value-added output rose 10.4 pct to 1.72 trln yuan.
