iMerchants to introduce on-line securities trading service

iMerchants (8009) Chairman & CEO Leroy Kung noted that it is to launch an on-line securities trading platform in phases at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Kung believed that the demand for on-line banking platform will be increased along with the increasingly intensive competition in the banking sector. A shared platform could cut down cost for banks. The company hopes to develop other accessory facilities in next step.
