U.S. treasury market Wednesday closed in Tokyo
The U.S. treasury market will be closed in Tokyo on Wednesday after attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon, bond traders said. Tokyo traders said Treasury prices rose sharply after the attack, but current price levels were not clear. At 14:30 GMT, two-year Treasury notes were up 12/32 at 100-19/32, yielding 3.31 percent, a historic low. Five-year notes were unchanged at 101-8/32, yielding 4.33 percent. Key 10-year notes were up 19/32 at 101-27/32, yielding 4.86 percent.
