B shares bounced modestly by midday

China's B-share markets rebound slightly this morning after sharp decline Wednesday on the terrorist attacks in the United States. Shanghai B-share index advanced 0.67 points or 0.41 percent to 161.89 points on a turnover of 201.57 million yuan. Shenzhen B-share index edged up 0.86 points or 0.31 percent to 234.83 points with a turnover of 90.87 million yuan.
