Hutchison Whampoa to guarantee for EUR2.2b loan for Italian 3G

Hutchison Whampoa (0013) has promised to provide guarantee for EUR2.2 billion loan for the Italian 3G facility, according to a document sent by the company to interested banks. HWL hoped to borrow EUR3.2 billion for the Italian 3G project.
