HSBC Holdings' confidence in U.S. not affected

HSBC Holdings' (0005) confidence in the U.S. will not be affected by the devastating terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, said Raymond Or, general manager of Hongkong Bank, a unit of the banking group. The group has yet to calculate the losses at its World Trade Center branch, but he said none of its staff there was hurt in the incident.
