Tai Ping Carpets posts 1H NP up to HK$19.2 million

Tai Ping Carpets International Ltd. (0146) said its net profit rose 27.7 percent to HK$19.2 million for the six months through June, from a year earlier. Earnings per share were 13.3 HK cents compared with 10.9 HK cents previously. Revenue, meantime, rose 2.2 percent to HK$219.3 million. No interim dividend will be distributed, unchanged from a year earlier.
