Bank stocks down

At 11.00 am, the Hang Seng index was down 381.43 points at 9,274.02 while the finance index was down 667.01 at 16,576.49. HSBC (0005) was down 3.00 at 76.75 on 2.883 mln shares while Hang Seng (0011) Bank was down 2.25 at 77.00 on 651,874 shares.
