Shangri-La unit to acquire 25 pct stake in Malaysia resort

Ltd said its unit Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad, which is 55.12 percent owned by Shangri-La Asia, has agreed to acquire a 25 pct stake in Pantai Dalit Beach Resort Sdn Bhd (PDBR) for about US$ 7.549 million. After the acquisition, Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) will hold a 75 percent take in PDBR.
