Citicorp sees US$700 mln loss in Q3

The Citicorp expected its after-tax profit for the third quarter to shrink by US$700 million due to the terrorist attacks on US last week. The after-tax loss of the insurance operation, including travel and life insurance and compensation to staff, will amount to US$500 million.
