China B shares end higher on Tuesday
China B shares ended higher on technical rebound and as investors breathed a sigh of relief as the performance of the U.S. stock markets, which reopened Monday for the first time since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, were in line with market expectations. Shanghai B-share index climbed 5.42 points or 3.80 percent to 147.70 points with the turnover posted at RMB709.22 million. Shenzhen B-share index edged up 4.98 points or 2.12 percent to 239.25 points. The turnover was RMB393.26 million.
