US dollar trades higher after Japan¡¦s intervention

The U.S. dollar was most recently quoted higher at 117.88 yen after Japan's Ministry of Finance intervened in the foreign exchange market this morning. Before the intervention, the dollar had dropped to a low of 117.10 yen in morning Asian trade.
