China B shares surge

China B shares surged in afternoon session after slight decline in the morning. Shanghai B-share index closed 5.28 points or 3.57 percent higher at 152.98 points. The turnover shrank to RMB485.98 million versus RMB709.22 million of the previous day. Shenzhen B-share index ended up 7.87 points or 3.28 percent to 247.12 points with the turnover decreasing to RMB245.45 million compared with RMB393.27 million of yesterday.
