Shanghai B-shares lower

Shanghai B-share prices closed the morning slightly lower after coming off their mid-session highs in line with the A-share declines.The turnover remained thin amid uncertainty over the outlook for the global economy and concerns that further A-share declines could also pull B-share prices lower. The B-share index closed the morning session 0.68 points lower at 152.29 points after trading between 154.57 points and 150.88 points.
