HSI ended morning session down 0.94% at 9,197.29 Tuesday

The benchmark Hang Seng Index was slightly down at midday after opening up 156 points despite that the Dow Jones Industrial Average rebounded strongly overnight. the HSI closed the morning session down 87.21 points, or 0.94 percent, at 9,197.29. Turnover increased to HKD5.1 billion. The Growth Enterprise Market Index,advanced 0.65 point, or 0.40 percent, to 163.95 on turnover of HKD23.4 million.
