HSI close up 1.71% at 157.93 points midday

Hang Seng Index was higher at midday on consecutive two-day rise of U.S. stocks. The HSI ends the morning session up 157.93 points or 1.71 percent, at 9,367.99 on the turnover of HKD3.4 billion. The Growth Enterprise Market Index close up 0.05 point, or 0.03 percent, to 164.74 on the turnover of HKD15.4 million in midday.
