Chinese Est acquired Yuen Long property from J Lau

Chinese Estates Holdings Limited (0127) announced to acquire the Yuen Long New Place properties from a company controlled by Joseph Lau. The annualized total rental and license fee attributable to the Yuen Long New Place is expected to be around $5 million for the year ending 31 December 2001.
