HSI edge down narrowly in early trade

Hang Seng Index edged down slightly in early trade, after Wall Street dropped after consecutvie two-day gain in fear of economic recession. At 10:10 a.m. Hong Kong time, the HSI was down 32.98 points or 0.35 percent, at 9,338.77. The Growth Enterprise Market Index declined 0.21 point or 0.13 percent, to 164.70.
