HSI ends midday at 9438.28

Hang Seng Index ended slightly higher at midday after falling early in the morning following Wall Street decline. At midday, the HSI was up 66.53 points or 0.71 percent, at 9,438.28. Turnover was HK$3.17 billion. The Growth Enterprise Market Index dropped 0.02 point, or 0.01 percent, to 164.89 on turnover of HK$8.76 million.
