Panda-Recruit develops PRC market as HK market shrinks

Robert Chow, Chief Executive Officer of Panda-Recruit Limited (8073), said that the company is now planning for its recruitment business development in Chinese mainland because the Hong Kong recruitment market had shrunk by 30% in the first half this year on stagnant economy. The company set up an office in Guangzhou in February and plans to invest over RMB10 million to set up another in Shanghai next year. Similar offices will also be set up in Beijing and Shenzhen afterwards.
