HK stocks end 3.6 pct higher, up 11.4% on week

Hong Kong's benchmark index ended more than three percent higher on Friday on short covering ahead of a four-day weekend and gains in U.S. and European markets. Hang Seng index closed up 3.64 percent, or 349.91 points, at 9,950.70, bringing its gains for the week to 11.4 percent.
