Japan stocks open higher on Wall Street Gain

Tokyo stocks opened up slightly on Wednesday as the U.S. cut interest rate and Wall Street gained. The benchmark Nikkei 225 average edged up 0.84 percent or 85.28 points to 10,221.82, extending gains into a fifth straight session.
