Hongkong Bank to establish back-office center in Shanghai

Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp., the local operating flagship of HSBC Holdings (0005), has decided to set up an operation center in the Shanghai which is its second one inthe China, said David Eldon, its chairman. HSBC has already set up a back-office center inGuangzhouemploying 750 staff currently.
