Global Bio-chem places additional shares to net HK$137 million

Global Bio-chem Technology Group (0809) said its placing agent GC Capital (Asia) Ltd. exercised in full of the option to place an additional 76 million existing shares to raise an extra HK$137 million net. The additional placing shares, priced at HK$1.86 each, represent 5.9 percent of its existing issued share capital. Together with net proceeds raised through the original 180 million subscription shares, Global Bio-chem raised a total of HK$457 million through the top-up placing.
