Wah Fu suspended for share transaction

Wah Fu International Holdings Ltd. (0952), which owns Quamnet.com, asked that its shares be suspended pending a statement about a share transaction. The company said last month that it proposes to change its English name to Quam Ltd. to better reflect the company's current business direction. Wah Fu, which became engaged in providing financial information and services on the Internet through the acquisition of Quam.net Ltd. in Jan. 2001, said it intends to further expand its business in virtual private banking.
