7 firms in share buybacks yesterday

Seven companies repurchased their shares in the market yesterday, according to the local exchange. CLP Holdings Ltd. (0002), Hong Kong's largest power supplier, repurchased 3.006 million shares at between HK$29.95 and HK$30 each. CNPC (Hong Kong) Ltd. (0135), a Hong Kong-listed unit of China's No.1 oil company, repurchased 2.41 million shares at between 57 HK cents and 59 HK cents each. Excel Technology International Holdings Ltd. (8048), an Internet applications service provider, repurchased 7.012 million shares at between 67 HK cents and 68 HK cents each. Hsin Chong Construction Group Ltd. (0404), a Hong Kong-based construction firm, repurchased 228,000 shares at 42 HK cents each. Hudson Holdings Ltd. (0758), a construction company targeting both Hong Kong and the mainland, repurchased 592,000 shares at between 57 HK cents and 60 HK cents each. Luks Industrial (0366), one of the major shareholders of TCL International Holdings (1070), repurchased 50,000 shares at 98 HK cents each. Moulin International Holdings Ltd. (0389), an eyeglass maker, repurchased 456,000 shares at between 48 HK cents and 49.50 HK cents each.
