PCCW higher on bargain hunting/lower interest expense

Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd (0008) shares were up 0.155 hkd or 8.07 pct at 2.075 on 354.1 mln shares on bargain hunting and expectations of substantial lower interest expenses for 2001, dealers said. They said PCCW is expected to save substantially in interest expenses following recent interest rate cuts.
