CLSA predicts HSI may fall below 8,000

CLSA Emerging Markets anticipates that the Hang Seng Index could fall 23 percent to below 8,000 before it reaches a level justified by current return on equity. Investors looking for 20 percent to 25 percent one-year returns should build up long positions around 9,000 level, CLSA's target entry levels, the house said.
