Hong Kong Trade Development Council Chief Economist Edward Leung notes that since the September 11 tragic incident, the public has expected the US to strike back, and he believes that the war would not be spread to other regions. TDC had anticipated that the export figures this year will drop 1% from last year. The revised figure as a result of devastating attacks against US will be announced in a couple of days.
