Nikkei-225 closes up 1.62% at 10125.92 in morning

Nikkei-225 opened 109.63 higher at 10074.51 in the morning session. The index then continued to rise to a half-day high of 10197.67 before closed at 10125.92, up 161.04 points or 1.62%.
